Today we are embroidering our Shark range and which got us thinking about how wonderful these animals are. There are over 500 species of shark, 500 different beautiful amazing shark species!
Sharks also play a vital role in the marine ecosystem, as predators they eat fish and help create balance in the food chain.
We need to protect these wonderful animals, an estimated 100 million sharks are killed each year by humans, that is about 7% of all shark species in the world killed by humans each year. Sharks kill about 6-8 humans per year.
This is why we need to help them and apologise for everything we have done to these incredible animals.
